Desktop app
Changelog
What changed in each release of the Passcard desktop app. Installed apps update themselves in the background.
Latest version 0.1.54. Download
- 0.1.46Sep 16, 2026
- Keep upload and pairing requests bound to the account that started them: signing out or pairing another workspace cancels in-flight uploads, and a delayed reply from an old connection can no longer sign out or overwrite the new one
- Keep queued usage with the workspace it was collected for; history collected before this update that belongs to an unknown workspace is held back instead of being uploaded to the next paired workspace
- Keep enforcing recurring budgets while offline across a day, week or month boundary, and apply the fail-closed setting when no current period data is available
- Compute pending spend from upload order instead of comparing device and server clocks, so a clock that runs ahead no longer double-counts usage or blocks work
- Skip records that cannot be uploaded instead of blocking every later upload behind them, and shorten overlong branch, model and file names at collection time
- Continue scanning when one log file is malformed, report the failed file, and no longer lose the usage collected from other files in that scan
- Watch OpenCode's write-ahead log so usage from ongoing sessions is collected without waiting for a database checkpoint, and read large OpenCode histories completely
- Stop counting repeated Codex usage snapshots and rescanned Claude Code records twice
- Give same-named local checkouts outside the home directory their own repository keys so unrelated history is no longer merged or reassigned when one of them gains a remote
- Keep hidden the absolute working directories that some harnesses encode into log folder names when reporting credential exposure locations
- Abort hook installation when an agent's configuration file cannot be parsed instead of replacing it, and take a fresh backup before every change
- Quote hook commands correctly for installation paths containing apostrophes, escape percent signs in Linux autostart entries, and report when a setting could not be saved
- Show every project row of a repository in the overview instead of keeping only the last one, and compute daily spend correctly across daylight-saving changes
- 0.1.44Sep 15, 2026
- Prevent desktop release checks from failing when scan workers take longer to start on busy build agents
- Keep desktop upload timestamps and queue counts current during history imports, and show the full queue count without truncation
- Show immediate progress for Scan and Retry, upload newly scanned usage before finishing, and prevent repeated clicks from starting overlapping work
- Explain upload interruptions caused by network changes and keep error messages readable
- 0.1.43Sep 15, 2026
- Share a public profile with your own token usage, session count and daily activity from the last 30 days; choose a username when publishing, without an extra onboarding step
- Keep profiles private until explicitly published, preview the shared statistics and opt in separately to sharing costs; company usage is excluded, and making a profile private disables its public link
- 0.1.42Sep 15, 2026
- Find exposed credentials using masked key endings, repository and session links, and local message locations; include the new details in optional Enterprise encryption
- 0.1.41Sep 15, 2026
- Review provider, credential reference, member and device before marking a key rotated, with cancellation, progress and errors in the app dialog
- 0.1.40Sep 15, 2026
- Open billing, integrations, security, deployment and model prices directly from the sidebar; keep preferences in Settings
- 0.1.39Sep 15, 2026
- Warn workspace admins when recognized API keys appear in user messages in AI chats, with counts by member and device; matched keys and chat text stay on the device
- Track credential reviews and manual rotation confirmations, and reopen findings when a credential is shared again
- Use explicitly recorded Priority and Fast modes for model-specific cost estimates and desktop budgets, keeping costs marked as estimates when modes are unconfirmed or historical rates are unavailable
- Capture future OpenCode service-mode requests through the Passcard plugin without counting usage twice; restart OpenCode after the plugin updates
- Keep Grok CLI service mode unknown when logs and hooks omit it; a model name or current setting does not establish which rate applied
- Reduce repeated desktop freezes during large history imports by calculating pending spend off the main thread and processing scan results, repricing and uploads in bounded batches
- Show recorded execution alongside elapsed session time in sessions, profiles, projects, clients and CSV or printable client reports; execution includes tools and waits, missing timing stays unknown, and neither measure represents human working hours
- 0.1.38Sep 15, 2026
- Remove the AppImage's external FUSE 2 dependency and offer native Linux downloads for Omarchy/Arch, Debian/Ubuntu and Fedora/openSUSE, with installation and update instructions
- Block app usage sharing and error reports in company workspaces, even when older workspace settings or personal preferences allow them
- 0.1.37Sep 15, 2026
- Redesign Security with clear encryption status, quick access to sign-in settings, audit history and API keys, and expandable protection details
- 0.1.36Sep 15, 2026
- Limit Free to one device per workspace; after a downgrade, the oldest connected device keeps syncing and other devices pause until you revoke it or upgrade
- Lower Solo to $5/month or $50/year for one person, with unlimited devices
- 0.1.35Sep 15, 2026
- Export client costs as CSV or print a report to save as PDF, including archived projects
- Keep archived project history when repositories are reassigned
- Show clear cost labels with calculation details on demand, without repeated estimate badges
- 0.1.33Sep 15, 2026
- Choose whether to share app usage or error reports in web and desktop; both are off by default and workspace admins can disable sharing
- 0.1.32Sep 15, 2026
- Add separate privacy settings for optional usage analytics and sanitized error reports in web and desktop, with workspace permission required and collection off by default
- 0.1.29Sep 14, 2026
- Open a compact macOS menu-bar overview with device costs, agent usage, budgets and quick actions; open the main window only when selected
- Download updates without starting installation; wait for Restart to update before launching the macOS helper, and prevent repeated installation requests
- Make homepage content visible before JavaScript starts, replace the continuously rendered background with a static gradient, and serve smaller logos with the correct proportions
- Improve dark-mode contrast and add an llms.txt overview of public product information
- 0.1.28Sep 14, 2026
- Add Business settings for SSO setup and directory synchronization health; directory provisioning requires activation by the provider
- Let Business administrators filter and export audit history, and manage scoped, expiring read API keys for usage, projects and budgets
- Apply consistent budget permissions across web and desktop, with a seven-day grace period for existing shared budgets and blocking rules after a plan downgrade; updated desktops also enforce the deadline offline
- 0.1.27Sep 14, 2026
- Recover missing desktop releases separately for each platform and reject builds that would publish older or divergent code
- 0.1.26Sep 14, 2026
- Fix the website deployment dependency so publishing waits for the required checks to pass
- 0.1.25Sep 14, 2026
- Deploy the website after each successful main-branch build so changes from earlier failed builds are not skipped
- 0.1.24Sep 14, 2026
- Share the homepage, pricing, downloads, release notes and setup guide in German, French or Spanish using dedicated URLs; switching languages keeps the current page, query parameters and section
- Add a How it works guide covering supported coding agents, setup, cost calculations, budget enforcement and the metadata uploaded from your device
- Clarify that costs are API-equivalent estimates rather than provider bills, explain local budget enforcement limits, and list uploaded session metadata and relative filenames alongside the data that stays local
- Add translated page titles, descriptions and link previews, and help search engines discover each language version of the public website
- Keep website navigation readable on tablet-sized screens and load decorative animations only when needed
- Show a translated 404 page with links to the homepage, app and support when a public link is missing, instead of sending visitors to sign-in
- 0.1.23Sep 14, 2026
- Align numeric column headings in project, session and usage tables, and give usage totals enough space to stay on one line
- Keep the web app in sync with the device or browser appearance when System is selected, including after page updates
- 0.1.21Sep 14, 2026
- Filter projects, clients and sessions by member and device, keeping the selection when changing dates or opening details
- Add member profiles with device ownership, usage per device and project, and recent sessions; your own profile is available on every plan
- Show session time per member in project and client details, based on recorded start and end times within the selected period; idle time and overlapping sessions can be included
- Keep session costs and durations within the selected dates, count shared sessions once in client totals, and clear session project assignments when a repository is unassigned
- Add German, French and Spanish text for the new profiles and filters, with sortable tables, mobile layouts and support for reduced motion
- Retry loading the desktop window once after a blank start, failed page load or renderer crash, and show an error if recovery fails
- 0.1.20Sep 14, 2026
- Redesign integration settings with visible Linear and GitHub connections, sync status and actions, and repository-to-team mappings that work on mobile and in dark mode
- Rebuild Billing with live Paddle subscription totals, currency, next payment and confirmed seat count, plus direct links to invoices, payment methods and cancellation
- Add a searchable member cost breakdown that separates active, invited and inactive members and labels list-price estimates separately from actual Paddle charges
- Keep Paddle seats in sync with durable retries and a five-minute reconciliation job; trial seat changes remain unbilled, and interrupted requests do not charge twice
- Apply plan history limits to desktop Activity and device summaries, including cached totals and pending uploads; reject out-of-range dates and handle daylight-saving changes in custom ranges
- Run the integration worker automatically during local web development and document separate Linear OAuth and webhook setup for development and production
- Add German, French and Spanish copy for the new billing, integration and desktop history controls
- 0.1.19Sep 13, 2026
- Clarify the Free plan banner and integration settings with a separate plan link, readable descriptions and a ticket-attribution switch
- Fix missing translations in integrations, security and ticket views, and correct German wording throughout the web app
- Remove DeepL automation; UI and release-note translations now use locally maintained files with validation for UI placeholders and markup
- Disable date presets outside the plan history limit, constrain custom dates and show the actual available range when opening an older shared link
- 0.1.17Sep 13, 2026
- Start on Free with one seat, three projects and 30 days of visible history; ending a subscription returns the workspace to Free without locking the app or stopping uploads
- Paid plans offer a 14-day trial with a card on file, once per user across workspaces; Billing shows the selected plan, trial end and upcoming payment
- Replace legacy ticket matching with an optional Linear and GitHub integration Beta under Settings, disabled by default; old ticket fields and ticket budgets are removed without importing them
- Match ticket costs using repository-scoped branch, pull request and merge evidence; review uncertain matches, correct or exclude allocations, and retain their change history
- Ticket budgets use confirmed assignments and synchronized spend receipts; turning the Beta off stops ticket synchronization and enforcement, and turning it back on leaves ticket budgets disabled until explicitly enabled
- Collect additional Git evidence only while the Ticket Beta is active, and avoid assigning historical usage from the checkout's current branch
- Handle revised usage and uploads that finish after a newer local update, keeping desktop spend and budget corrections consistent without counting the same usage twice
- Add optional Enterprise encryption for stored repository names and links, project and client names, customer numbers, ticket metadata and other workspace labels, using separate workspace keys managed through WorkOS Vault
- Encrypt existing workspace records in the background, keep encryption through plan changes, and support an audited deactivation request while recovery keys remain available; this protects stored metadata and is not end-to-end encryption
- Add an optional customer number to client forms, lists and details
- Reduce dashboard database work with daily usage summaries while preserving exact time windows, session counts and later cost corrections; date selectors respect the plan's visible history
- Allow existing users to create another workspace from the workspace switcher
- Refresh the website's opening section and supported-agent display, clarify Free and trial pricing, and improve mobile navigation labels and keyboard behavior
- 0.1.16Sep 13, 2026
- Web app: projects list with an inline client picker, a separate inbox for unmapped repos, dialogs for new projects and clients, and detail pages for projects and clients where projects can be assigned from either side
- 0.1.12Sep 13, 2026
- Calmer window: the overview shows today's spend, budgets and recent warnings; repos and devices per time window moved to a new Activity tab; missing hooks, failed uploads and ready updates appear as banners only when they need attention
- Settings groups one row per agent with its hook coverage and one Install button; folders open on demand, and server, port and fail mode sit under Advanced
- 0.1.10Sep 13, 2026
- Overview lists one row per agent with its hook coverage and installs all missing hooks at once; Settings groups folders by agent and shows them as ~/ paths
- The all-devices overview adds a calendar quarter and a custom day range next to today, 7 days and month
- Model prices come from the Passcard server, which checks public price lists hourly; a price change applies to usage after it, earlier usage keeps the price paid at the time
- 0.1.9Sep 13, 2026
- Reads Gemini CLI, Grok CLI, GitHub Copilot CLI, OpenCode and pi next to Claude Code, Codex and Cursor, and installs budget hooks into each
- Finds every home of a harness (extra profiles such as ~/.codex-work, T3 Code); folders can be added, switched off or removed in Settings
- 0.1.8Sep 12, 2026
- Redesigned window: one column with sections instead of stacked cards, switches, a segmented appearance control, and the Geist typeface shared with the web app
- The server address is shown in Settings but can no longer be edited there
- 0.1.7Sep 12, 2026
- Show what changed after an update, with a link to the full release notes in Settings
