Install and update

Install and update

Pairing needs an unlocked system keyring, such as GNOME Keyring or KDE Wallet. On minimal desktops, make sure a Secret Service is running in your login session.

What is uploaded
Usage metadata is uploaded.Prompts and file contents stay local.
The desktop app uploads normalized usage and session metadata, including relative filenames. It excludes prompt text, tool argument payloads, file contents and absolute paths.
Sent
Token counts, model and agent names, repo and branch names, session identifiers and timing, tool names and counts, relative filenames, and device details.
Never sent
Prompt text, tool argument payloads, file contents, absolute paths and environment variable values.
Revocable
Every device has its own token. Revoke it from the dashboard and uploads stop.
